FOCUS GROUPS

There are different Study and Discussion (Focus Groups) of students of School of Medicine related to different Subjects or Topics. The Focus Groups run under TAMIR Center as a Project of ADAM EC3 (Education & Career Counseling Club). The Students participate in these focus groups from all semesters.

Objective

Develop more understanding and acquiring more knowledge on a subject like Neurology, Cardiology or Nephrology.

Developing Presentation Skills

Developing Skills related to Scientific Discussion

Preparation for Special Exams or Olympiads.

Methodology

One student is a Group Leader of Focus Group who work as Moderator and Main Presenter.

Other Students join the group to learn and practice their knowledge on the subject matter

Weekly discussion group is organized in the campus which includes presentations, discussions, quiz and tests.

Results

At the end of 6 months the Discussion and Presentation sessions of Focus Group is completed and Certificates are distributed among students for actively participating in the Focus Group.

Student Notes are made at the end and these notes are made available for other students who want to learn on the subject matter.
